Can anyone help please try g to upload an avatar I have resized a picture but just get an x in the corner thx
Is the file type compatible? JPG (jpeg) or PNG? It's generally a straight-forward process. I reduce the file size first before attempting to upload. Your present avatar looks as if it has been reduced and then enlarged and in so doing has lost its clarity and definition.
Ok thx is there any way of setting it back to normal lol tried a few times resizing but having no luck thx
Fair enough, BSS, but if the photo was taken with a good camera, as I have done with a few shots, the pixel size could be as much as 5184 x 3888. That is where an upload will fail. Your miniscule 564x510 jpeg wouldn't have presented a problem. I think we need the wisdom of super mod @sps170373 to resolve this.
Try 'delete current avatar' at bottom of avatar edit box, and then try to upload something completely different. If that works, it would seem your Repsol avatar is either incompatible or corrupted. As @Lozzy says, you do have the Repsol but its not a good clear pic.
I'm sure someone will have the answer to your problem...they were all very helpful when I was having problems uploading to my album...especially sps
What a plonker the file I was using was the wrong one lol this will do for now thx all and sorry for the hassle
Yes. Yep, much better now. And I must say that a Repsol looks better in an avatar than in real life. Well done!!
Gee, I owe you one. I remember once promising not to malign Repsols. I must have suffered a relapse. But you know what, I am still looking for a mint 2007 Repsol. In the words of Alanis Morrisette: Isn't it Ironic? I've already posted pics of this re exhaust, but too many miles for me. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Unique-R...m=264355716602&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851
That's why you crop/resize appropriately. The pictures I post are taken at at a high resolution and then I do cropping and resize. I posted the size of the avatar pic I used to hopefully give @Madmackie a starting point from something that is known to work.
