Gee, I've seen those ring things before - but they're usually plastic! Paulo, would you do a 'fitting' thread? Would be handy for a few of us.
Finally fitted the Arrow today in sweltering heat, but it was worth it in the end. No errors on the dash and it sounds amazing!
Damn. Now I'm really hooked. Looks magic. I'd made a further enquiry with B & C last Sunday, after my original purchase request on 11 June. No response from them. You've done really well Paulo, but unfortunately I find their service appalling. Worst thing is I can't get anywhere near your price. Anyway, good to learn you've got no dash errors - that's a MAJOR bonus. And your 'servo' thingy is just disabled/tied off? With out dash errors, you might not even need the servo eliminator. I'd bee inclined to leave it as is, just in case fitting the eliminator does prompt a problem.
I bet it’s loud paulo Looks so much better than that thing Honda call an exhaust At least Lozzy should stay off your ar## now
Come on Bazz, it's not that bad. Just big. And square. And long. But it does sound good, especially after 3500 rpm when the flapper opens. I take mine off SORN on Monday. Yay!!
I found them really helpful actually, especially price matching. Fitting was relatively straight forward, there was an instruction booklet with printed images which really helped. Basically I disconnected the two servo cables firstly from the servo wheel attached to the exhaust. This created some slack to enable me to remove the two cable ends from the servo motor which is located under the seat. Left the servo motor in place under the seat as leaving it plugged in means you shouldn't get the error (engine management light) all that was needed was to loosen off the footrest to unhook the cables from the retaining bracket. Marked up each cable so refitting stock exhaust later should be a doddle. Probably don't need to re fit the cables to be honest!
that looks great! i'm thinking of buying this for my SP does it come with removable db baffle? if not how loud is it?
One of the reasons I went with the Arrow over Racefit was that it does come with a removable baffle, a fairly substantial one too. So I'm confident it will pass noise limits on track days if I get round to doing one again Without the baffle it is seriously loud, a nice loud though and not offensive build quality and style is as you would expect from the Italians
thanks so much, had a yosh didn't really like but did sound good then put a leo short on it way to loud
Looks awesome! Today I ordered a SC Project CRT and I agree with you about the Italian style and quality
well after seeing the pics of yours i pulled the trigger and ordered one for the SP yesterday! can't wait to get it! thanks for the pics and info! Having 6 bikes is becoming expensive modding each one
Rode the bike to work this morning for the first time with the new exhaust on, got to say it sounds amazing! especially with the quickshifter. Also you can actually hear the auto blipper 'blipping' now as well which is very satisfying! the bike ran as smooth as it always has and I didn't get any warning lights on the dash either. Looks like I'm good to go!
Great news, @PauloHRC . Remember all the trouble @keithg1748 (I think it was) had with his Yoshi? And who was the other; that fictitious member, you know, sort of like 'Wilson' neighbour of Tim the Toolman, but we never even see a hat. Ah yes, @Diane piggott . I recall she had a remap though perhaps not necessarily because it as throwing up codes. This is a bonus for those who will change to Arrow on the 2017 - 19.
