Hi all I have a new set of Pazzo brake and clutch levers to swap out on my 2010 cbr1000rr. After viewing a few YouTube videos I decided to tackle the brake lever first. When I take the brake lever off there is a small pivot that goes into the bikes actuator to stop the bike. That pivot is on the lever opposed to being on the bike. Is there a trick to getting it off and putting it on the new levers? Hope this makes sense otherwise can post a pic tomorrow. Any help is appreciated.
Ah found a pic of the pivot thing I am mentioning above. How can I take that out the lever to replace in new one?
I'm no pro but isn't that supposed to be on the bike and not on the lever? I had pazzos on my gsxr and they weren't like that. I've changed levers on my 2010 twice and they weren't like that either.
That's what I thought but somehow they on the lever. Wondering if anyone else had this and if there is a way to get the little pivot thing out without breaking it?
Looking at it it should just pull out. When it's all intact it only just sits inside the lever but its shouldn't be tight in anyway. It's bugging me because really hard to explain without physically being there to see it but I get what the issue is.
