It was in the low 100's here, so it was brutal. I worked Saturday at the motorcycle school, teaching new riders for 8 hours on the range. Most of my day is spent jogging backwards (can't turn your back on the bikes) and instructing (total of 9 miles according to my step app), so that kind of wore me out. Then we had the Hells Angels chili cook off on Sunday. My club has won 5 of the past 6 years. Well, we did it again! This time taking both the people's choice award and the judged award. I was one of the cooks, so I was there from 7am until 5pm..in the sun again (that's me in the white hat). I lost around 10 pounds this weekend..lol.
I serviced and fixed the ride-on mower, and then sorted the patio for the first time in years. Oh yeah I was also the host for a horse/deer fly smorgasbord whilstdoing said patio Whilst it was fun and rewarding in its own way there was not a single bit of biking so I think your weekend wins hands down. Here's about 2/3rds of the patio!
Watched the Hill Climb - a round of the UK nationals that is held locally. See what the local lads can do against the UK nationals. Then they close the sea front off and parade all the cars and bikes, and show other cars as well - classic cars, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Astons - amazing some of the cars people have got round here. No Hells Angels but there was this: The World's only street legal H2R (according to the bloke)
@bazzashadow - that is a lot, not sure how much he paid for his, but he did say the registration number cost him more - number -2-, no letters on our number plates here. @nigelrb - I wasn't sure either, but these guys have form. The bike next to it on show was the jet powered world bonkers record for a bike - local guys but world record breaking - so it wouldn't surprise me if it was what he said We are only a small place - very small place - but at our last bike night last week we had the world record holder turn up on his rocket bike - road legal registration number 747 ! What's his name turned up on a V10 - came over from the UK. He has been on The Motorbike Show, excellent bike engineer...
Wow - proper job. This chap might have to do his sign again then........ I am sure it says "one of a kind.....only road legal..."
