It's now the end of January and I've made a start The bike has sat alone and unloved in the garage for more than two years.....The original battery is still going strong and the motor spins up and runs fine. The frame and engine were not damaged in the crash but plenty of stuff was...... Prior to the crash the bike was pretty much stock apart from a full arrows system, custom map, Kais revalve and springs front and rear..... Achieved so far; Fitted Renthal clip-ons and grips. Folding, adjustable levers. Work in progress; Fitting Sigma slipper clutch (half way through) Pics soon Repacking Arrow titanium race can, sleeve and ne Arrows decals arrived today from FW Developments. Fitting 2006 black swing-arm. Waiting on the new Abba stand to arrive from Demon Tweeks.... Fitting WRP wavy's 320mm. Decided to get the wheels painted, so discs will have to stay in the packet for now. Stuff waiting to go on; TRW rear sets MRA Double bubble smoke windscreen Translogic Quickshifter Lust racing Crash bungs and matching cotton reels Stuff to be ordered when I get my arse in gear; Fairings from MotoCC (probably 2006) (probably black) All new bolts and screws from ProBolt Don't worry, not in Purple - probably black or grey.... The whole theme for the bike is Black. i've already replaced all my scrapped riding gear, in Black Pics to follow
Good luck mate, would love to see the end result! let us know how different the slipper clutch makes it, been thinking about one of these for a year or two. When I rode my mates 09 I thought I was being lazy just bangin it down the box rather than going thru the gears. Still undecided tho!
