At least if you take a black bike abroad, you don't have to get a bbq, you can just stick your steaks on the tank
Well my bike does have lots of black on it, does that count as black bike but alos lots of blue, so i guess I got a black & blue bike, with bits of white....oh though is White a colour?
Huh? I have no preference either way. Erm, well, when it comes to bikes that is. The only reason for commencing the thread was in the matter of public interest and to give non- and prospective members something more relevant and interesting to read rather than the trifling, 25-page and growing thread of: 'To all the Girls I've Loved Before'. That's the kinda' unselfish guy I am.
Got have colour for me, a black bike is ok in isolation but amongst bikes of colours tends to disappear up its own arse.
This isn’t looking good, people are gonna start looking for a second vote if black wins! Now where has that happened before
Yes but all us black owners are thick and don't know what we're voting for dontcha know Especially with NIGELSNIGELSNIGELSNIGELSNIGELSNIGELS dodgy voting card
I say it again: it's either black or a colour, not black or which colour would you prefer. It's like when I go into Ann Summers. I want to be faced with the simplest choice possible - get the job done and out of there. But I have a challenge for you, Loz. Perhaps you could start a poll on the topic of 'How best should we conduct a poll?' Still, given the 35 votes to date, I find it interesting that the choice has remained very even. And by the way, would you mind putting the apostrophe in "Nigel's" when using my name in the possessive context.
I have not voted because I agree the bike colours should be listed and then you would see a proper comp against black But by the sound of it black has won anyway And I own 2 black bikes
And this sort of proves the point that for some, black is not considered as a 'first choice' but as a viable alternative should a preferred colour combination not exist. This was not about winners and losers. My objective, and one that has received interest from members based on the responses was merely in response to Lee's suggestion that black might be 'less popular'. It has transpired through the voting that the 'popularity' of black is not less favourable than other colours, and on that basis (in my view) could not be a reason for a bike not selling.
If we split it out into each different colour, black would be winning by a mile.19 for black, yet 17 for all colours combined.
