Hi all I need some help !

I have not been able to reset the GI gear indicator fitted to my RR9.

I have downloaded a copy of the user guide (it states the following)

    1) Turn the ignition key on and then immediately turn off while the GI pro is counting up and showing 3, 4 or 5

    2) Repeat this 5 times

    3) On the next power up the display will count backwards (6 to 1) and the memory is cleared and the unit displays a 'flashing L' and then reset

I am following the user guide but cant get a 'flashing L' so unable to complete a full reset: mad:

    Any ideas ?

Does it give a slightly different sequence for a Gipro that has been set before.... Maybe someone's been messing with it. Also when I did mine I had to do it a couple of times to get it right.
    Good Luck,
    Mike.

Sorry after reading your post again you are rs-setting it. Well I used the kill switch, was easier than the key, but still took a few attempts.

Thanks bradt, I have it set now)) In my enthusiasm I made the mistake of setting it on a winding country road)) was in 6th gear around the bends waiting for the GiPro to learn the gear))
