Evenin all, everyone else had used up the traditional greetings so i thought id make one up. First off an apology, i dont own an 1000RR blade, nor could i ever, not unless i was followed around by someone to pull it out of me arse crack when we stopped. Just too small. The most i could aspire to would be a 954 (which will be mine next winter when they fall over the 10 year rule of my insurance). At the moment i have an RRW 918 Blade, K+N, Dynojet (none of your power commanders here), Akropovic full system, 17" 3 spoke front wheel, matching back, Maxton rear shock, (soon to be) Maxton forks, and a home brewed HM Plant paint job. Its not much but it has been mine for 7 years now ever since it was a streetfighter. Bloody hell i cant believe i've had the same bike for 7 years, a definite record for me. Anyway, i look forward to being berated by you all for owning a clearly inferior bike, but i'll take it on the chin and carry on anyway. Cheers all, i'm off for a pint in the hotel i'm staying in at the moment.
Welcome in Billy, looks like you're going to feel right at home on here, pics of the said machine please
Yeah that's all very well mate but where's the bloody badgers. Nothing wrong with the RRW, bloody good bike and so is the 954 (I'm biased). Welcome to the site, enjoy. You will be expected to post photographs of it so prepare to be nagged. Cheers Ken
Welcome Billy. Intro made me laugh anyway. Lol. A blade's a blade mate, we aint all as rich as some of the 'gits' on here.
lol, we have to nag people on here to get pics on otherwise they dont do it!! being diplomatic about the badgers and biting!! lol xxx
RRW was my first ever bike at the tender age of 21, I love them and want to find a mint one to keep one day. Funnily enough my next bike was the 954 again a great bike but I couldn't get on with it I'd keep the RRW If I were you, you missed one thing out of your great intro! PICTURES, we love a good picture on here The bike of course!!! Oh and Welcome aboard where are you based?
Come on Barmby. You know that's not true. Remember, an Irishwoman prays on her knee's, an Englishwoman prays on her feet and a Yorkshirewoman preys on her neighbours.
Hello 'n' welcome Billy as eveyone says a Blade's a Blade mate but I can't say size does'nt matter in this case coz it does mate i look big on my 2010 Blade all 5'8 of me! Oh and I'd like to say the extra CC's don't make any odds but sorry mate i'd be tellin' porkies! It the way whatever Blade you have makes you feel, they definitely stir the soul
Welcome Billy, The old Blades were sooooooo nice, I started with an RRN way back in '93. Once you start there ain't no going back.
