Question, I have a race can and link pipe on my 2012, do the eliminator make any difference? The old servo motor is still attached and doing it’s thing minus cables. 562C5A80-0C78-4DD0-8256-6D361E4DA2FD.jpeg

Hi Bob. Welcome to the forum. If you were to remove the servo motor then you'd be left with a warning light on the dash. The servo eliminator just plugs in where the removed motor was and stops the warning light illuminating on the dash.

If you aren't bothered about removing the redundant servo motor then the eliminator is useless and you dont need it.

People tend to remove the servo motor to save the little bit of space under the seat and save the tiny bit of weight.

Theres no improvement, it just plugs in place of the motor to prevent a warning code. You're right though, its expensive for what it does.
