anyone gone from using the pilot road 5’s to the m7rr? My new bike has he Metzeler on and are brand new but I’ve always had/put Michelin’s on my bikes. Any tips on what to expect, quick to warm up, softer carcass(prefer the harder Michelin’s) rough mileage? Are they a more sporty dry weather tyre?any input would be helpful as will need to get a set before Xmas otherwise Cheers
M7rr are a brilliant all rounder. You could hammer it round a dry track then ride it home in the pissing rain. High silica content in the compound gives good wet grip from the off. As a road tyre you cant go wrong
If you can hang on there's a new M9RR coming out soon - it was revealed at EICMA. Depends how soon you need new tyres!

Always put M7’s on my Blades i took the Dunflops off when brand new to replace with Metzlers i dont even consider another tyre, pretty instant grip, great in rain and cant fault when hot. id be going the other way taking the Michelins off
I have these fitted and warm up a lot quicker than the b21’s I had on but I’m not sure if it me or the tyres but I feel they track a lot
They shouldn't feel like that Bazza...I must have had 10+ sets of them up to now and they're superb in most conditions as others have said. I run anything between 36/36 and 36/40...sometimes in summer they've dropped to 33/33 and they run great at all these pressures. I'd get the wheels off and give it all a good check over if I were you.
10 sets!! That would be the best recommendation anyone could get for tyres. I'll defo use them on my next tyre change - I think the 954 will love them instead of my usual Pirelli Rosso IIs. Then I will evaluate whether to use them instead of Super Corsas - which I really love.
