First video I've seen of the startup. Sounds decent! Was hoping for the "pop" you can hear on other bikes that use Akra exhausts but nothing here. Might need to be revved higher up but also the mic was making adjustments due to the sound.

Interestingly, it seems the keyless ignition would mean pushing and turning the dial on left and then the normal red ignition switch? Seems finicky.

The current Blade (17-2019) is one of the best sounds from any standard exhaust i have heard in years. Nice colour scheme.

That's the 20k standard version.....shouldn't be in that paint scheme as looks the same as the 24k sp for 4K more I would want the sp to stand out more...

Check out the BMW S1000 range with the Akra exhausts, I love it!
Sometimes it's not picked up in videos though..

It still has those odd yellow running lights at the front then.

Here's another one! This time with some lights and a glimpse of the menus and settings.

Nice shots near the end of the Fireblade history too

Maad, excellent. Really enjoyed watching that. Really want the new one now, bit disappointed the SP doesn’t come with a single seat cowl. Not that it matters, can’t afford one anyway.

100% agree. Even my Mrs who likes to ride pillion was wondering why this has the seat although it's supposed to be the "race spec"

This also, why not have the SP w/seat and footpegs and then a separate option for SP w/cowling and exhaust hanger? Surely this would make sense on the consumer side of things

Who's arse is going to fit on that pillion seat....certainly none of the biker women I have ever seen at the local bike meet ...to keep it balanced not most chaps cheeks would fit on....maybe my right bollock...

I think a quick-shifter is a must for me, especially as I probably change gear around (hmm, now I'm wondering) 100 times on my hour-long daily commute into central London. I couldn't go back to a manual shift (for my commuter ride)..

I'm the same (with commuting). Since having a QS, it's been so convenient especially as it doesn't take away the manual shift option.
Was thinking of downgrading to the base mode + quickshifter but with the cost of the QS alone, might as well take the SP and get everything else that comes with it.
