Thinking of selling my 51 plate sp2 in the spring
    Owned for 10 years
    Mileage 16k
    Lots of extras
Do you think £8k is a reasonable price
Not shown are the Gilles chain adjusters & lifters

Think you may need to edit the post to remove one or two pictures mate. One comes up with your address. Please please remove it. You don’t know who looks on these sites. Beautiful bike, GLWS

As a recent purchaser of one of these and with finger on the pulse, I'd say you'd romp it in at £8K. Could even go to £8,700 for a quick sale. Would help if you have original cans. Most of the good ones are £10K plus.

I’m never greedy when it comes to a bike sale, have everything standard including exhausts, screen, levers & pillion seat.

Beautiful, I love my V Twins..... Hence why I'm interested in the new V2.

I'd say its a good fair price and as you say all original bits included. Be interesting to know what @nigelrb paid for his as way of comparison??

Was from your mates at your fave dealer: Hunts;).

I paid £10,600 less £1400 for my yellow Storm. The bike is one out of the box though, and to me, worth every penny. There are dearer, and there are cheaper, but even though this is a keeper, I'm certain I won't be losing on it.;)

Very to the point, Charlie. And I agree.

I know we all have reasons for selling a bike, but this is one of those gems that is close on irreplaceable. Obviously I speak with bias, but I also speak with the thrill of these things compared to our inline fours. They are also a slight hedge against inflation - a point that might sit at the bottom of the list.

There are many, just on this forum, who have gone into a half-hearted sale only to regret later.:(

So while you're thinking about it, David, ask yourself: 'What could ever replace this?';)

Stop it, it makes me sad that a missed a mint one for 4k a couple of years ago.

Price wise, that seems to be what they command now, if not a bit higher.

I want that bike, alas the trip to pick it up and bring it home kind of eliminates it as a viable option. Best of luck with your sale. It is a beautiful bike.
