What a bunch of idiots, in a way but also very clever. we’ve had a wave of them in the last week in Cambs, after blocking roads for a week causing traffic and so increased pollution (ironic) they have been digging up the lawn of trinity college today in Cambridge and dumping it in the Barclays Bank. Obviously no one to stop them, not even the police. I get the things they are protesting for, but really, they have to be actual dicks about it to get noticed? Surely like everything, raise your argument, Then you don’t need to shout! the irony is that most of them use trains, buses etc to get to the demos! bloody millennials, were all idiots! Nigel inspired rant over.
like you said a bunch of idots. Shouldn't they be at school, colledge or.. Of course the mainstream media is making a big meal out of it to promote their own circulation. And the kids have perfected the art of fake crying on camera to perfection
There was a documentary about last summers extinction rebellion protests on channel 5 this week. It was the most blood boiling hour of my life. The best clip was when 2 of them protested on top of a tube train during morning rush hour. The public soon pulled them down and gave them a bit of roughing up. Will be interesting to see what happens this summer with the extinction rebellion protests. I have high hopes we will see lots of water cannon and riot police giving them a good beating. The best outcome would be all the protestors acknowledge that over population is the main cause of climate change and they do the honourable thing and fall on their swords.
Ay up @mk3golfcab....there looks to be a lot of angry menopausal foo's down at this Cambridgeshire thing... Given your penchant for milfs maybe you could go and give them a fettling....it'll put a smile on their faces and get their trumpy soya bean arses off blocking the road....it's a win win
If they are correct in what they say then I could see why they take the action they do. Unfortunately I dont agree that we are in a climate emergency. I think the earth has a natural cycle and whether or not the existence of humans affects this to a degree that changes the climate is not yet proven as far as I know.
I was reading somewhere last week where some students had been protesting similar matters at a university and the guy in charge had offered to turn the heating off in their dormitories to assist their cause....I gather this wasn't taken up lol
I have a posh mate who speaks proper, private school poof basically. Now he was saying how as individuals we need to do more for climate change. So he drives a 5.0l V8 Range Rover, has a custom spec rally car, rides a V4s and his Mrs has a 3.0l V6 Merc convertible, now I'm all for helping the planet with his morale's
Rejoice if you're in Bristol this Friday... St Greta of the Thunberg is visiting...there will be almighty clogeth of the roads... You may want to take the day off work and just get p#ssed down the pub instead https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-51597922 This sketch keeps coming into my mind when I see them all for some reason lol
From the little I know of Bristol these days the good news is that her visit won't clog the roads up, sadly the bad news is that the council and their stupid effing polices have already done so for years by tactics like adding bus lanes to roads barely big enough for 2 vans to pass.
