Hi, just thought i'd do the courtesy of introducing myself formally before I start with all the posting business and banter. Anyway, i've had the 2008 RR8 since it was a a few months old and its been with me ever since. Love it to bits and it has seen me through 2 years of commuting, a euro trip, and cheered me up no end on many a sunday morning. Had a few tweaks here and there but mainly as it came (forgive the tank cover....as i say i used to commute on it) I'm down on the sussex coast but like to get out and about. Hope to have a bit of fun here and lean some stuff too. Cheers
Hellloooooo and welcome to our 'little' family Come on in and make yourself at home . Nice scoot you got there
Hi, knowing how it's protocol to post a photo I had to use one from last year.... The taylormade is now gone actually, replaced by a carbon scorpion pipe. Its got the pc111 on it but i only ever had the online map loaded. It ran great with that map but after a year with the TM i just got a little tired of it to be honest. Really sounded it's best at 8k plus which wasn't going to keep my licence for long, plus setting out on the commute at 6am meant I had to roll it down the road every day or risk seriously winding up the neighbours! I would have another TM now I only ride for fun, but actually the scorpion is awesome and sounds sweeter across the range. The TM always sounded rough down low, kind of like a breathy Subaru imprezza. I'm just outside Brighton but regularly ride up to mid and west Sussex, all the usual Sunday morning haunts.
Cool, i usually ride out from Surrey to Hove most sundays or saturdays so maybe a meet can be in order?
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Got a few things on my mind regarding the bike so I'll get myself over to the right areas for those. Looks like my photo hasn't loaded up right ... I'll get a more up to date one sorted to the right size soon. Cheers
