Has anyone had to adjust their front or rear preload?
There seems to be a fair amount of static sag on the front but next to nothing on the rear. I have even taken all preload off but still very little rear static sag. When i sit on bike in all gear the rear does squat a bit but not a great deal the front does sag a bit more too as It should.
The manual says for the front to adjust 4 turns in from full soft and the rear 8 turns out from full hard which is opposite to all other preload adjustments on every other bike i’ve had. Preload was always from full soft.

Has anyone else done any adjutments to these?

    Cheers

I havent even looked at Mine yet as I always find the springs 'soften' slightly once the first 1000 miles done and they become a little more compliant, so I just live with it for a while and then adjust as necessary once a few miles on clock.

Mine is the SP leccy version but most if not all the new sports bikes I've had have all pretty much been the same ref the spring starting to give more compliance after a few miles. Whether this one does remains to be seen but time will tell.

My sp is just around 1500miles on stock preload and I can’t get my cable tie anywhere near the limit on track, was going to have a play on the next trip!!!! Roll on 2021 now

    Sorry didn’t state 17-19 SP(2)

I’m using quite a bit of the front travel and front seems quite soft. Rear seems quite hard in comparison. Was just wondering if anyone had theirs adjusted or set up professionally and what was done.

What weight are you? And have you used a cable tie to check what travel your using?

    I’m about 12.5 stone.
I haven’t put any marker on the front suspension yet. It was more the lack of static sag on the rear and not being able to adjust any in to it.

Same weight as me, bung a tie on and I think you will be surprised how much travel you will have left
