    Thanks tuktuk
At first they thought it was attacking just mainly the elderly and those with low immune systems. This thing isn't prejudiced and will take out any creed, colour or age. 18 years old is the youngest I've heard, but then I don't watch all the doom and gloom on the tv, it's depressing. I just try to keep busy in my confinement.

    Some more interesting information

    COVID-19 is not a virus.

    COVID-19 is a disease

SARS-COv-2 is the virus that causes the COVID-19 disease.

Not everyone who is infected with the virus will even get the disease. Similarly, not even everyone infected that goes on to develop the disease will die.

Statistics assume that everyone who has the virus has the disease - that they are the same thing.

What is happening is that the disease has caused a spike in hospital care requirements - that is what they are trying to manage

Meant to be going on the annual tour of Scotland in 8 weeks time (27th May). Who here gives it a chance of happening? I know things won't be back to "normal" but I'm hoping enough restrictions will have been lifted to get me up the road. Thoughts?

Thanks Boothman. I'm trying to stay optimistic, but I think it's probably not going to happen.

Already talk of things 'slowing down' due to the restrictions in place. Can only be a good thing if it's true!

Hope it is sorted by then but I would be very surprised if it is sorted enough by then. We haven't hit the bad ohase yet and they were talking about the peak being mid April.

here is why it spread from china to Europe and the USA first, nothing to do with Race, all to do with Air travel
top map is Covid-1 spread up to 31st March and bottom map is from my flight tracker just to show you where most flights are, you can see how both maps line up very well covid-19 spread duw to air travel.jpg

Your flights map does not show the 13 million passengers that went through Nigeria's airports annually - a country of 190 million people.

The number of flights connecting with China is misleading as the peoples of Europe and the US are catching SARS-COv-2 from each other - despite lockdowns - and not from people getting off flights from China.

There are enough large population centres in Africa - cities such as Lagos of over 20 million people - that you would expect the virus to spread once introduced, but this has not been the case to date as it has been with Europe and the US.

Walked along to the grandparents house today to drop some supplies in, seen a load of birds in a tree and was thinking about if the wildlife is enjoying the fact we are all locked away. Got shat on both shoulders by the filthy buggers

Hardly seen a soul up to that point then everytime I turned a corner there was a dog walker or jogger coming down the road

I so want to ride my motorbike. Given the choice now of my Motorbike or Nicole Scherzinger which one would I like to ride, it would be a very tough one but the bike would win. Scherzinger would be lucky if she got 20 seconds.
