Ironically when I got the bike back in November it had lots of aftermarket parts on, which I've taken off and returned it pretty much back to standard.
All that's left is a yoshimura Rs5 end can - although to the Eagle eyed I've put US headers on as no CAT, with o2 eliminator and servo eliminator (just got ECU tune to go) and put the 2008 monoblock calipers on to the 2007 as straight swap and old ones were corroded. Got HRC quick throttle to put on, but other than that it's staying stock

If you're talking about a spike on a pneumatic ram, a pressure switch and a wee bottle of compressed air all squeezed into the battery box be aware that the last person I read of who done that ended up in jail.

    Apparently it's naughty.

I doubt I’ll make the Top 10 but hey ho. Challenge is my bike came with some none standard bits, I’ll start with them, just not entirely sure what they are:

Levers - short, black, adjustable, no idea what make
Exhaust - loud, very loud, clearly not original, no idea who made it, it exhausts, so not bothered
R&G crash bungs - ugly and big, guess I’ll be grateful if I bin it
Rad Guard - now in the bin, stupid ugly pointless thing
ECU/Re-Map thingy - bike came with a pretty graph, it’s a graph with lines and numbers, again, pointless
Powerbronze screen - Black, collects bugs, looks ok
Oxford Heated Grips - I ride all year round in summer gloves, great addition

    Bits I’ve added:

Renthal sprockets and new chain - a lot shinier than the old one
HEL Brake lines - made no difference but look good
Pillion seat cover - makes it look less like a Goldwing
Nitron shock - licked it when it arrived, thing of great loveliness
EBC Rear Disc - very shiny
Lithium Battery - means I can eat pizza
EBC pads - brakes are still s.h.i.t.e

Next on the list is a new master cylinder and maybe some Repsol bodywork.

That’s a bold statement/move IMHO and one you may look back on with regret should you be unfortunate and have a stone or similar puncture the rad.

I hear what you’re saying but over 10 years riding and I’ve never had an issue without one, (probably jinxed it now)!

I might have left it on but it was contributing to the bike overheating, which hasn’t been an issue since I lobbed it in a skip. Was probably a cheap nasty one, not rushing out to replace it though.

I’ve just fitted a guard from Racing Radiator Guards, only £30 fitting was a doddle with the middle fairings off. Seems a much better product that some of the other makes and as it’s mesh rather than pressed out of a sheet shouldn’t lead to overheating.
