morning al , I just wondered if anyone had changed the standard rearsets and if you have what have you got ? ,as ive been looking at gia moto so any pics would be great .
I had Giamoto on mine and loved them, made a big difference to comfort and riding position. I am 6’4” so really appreciated the extra leg room
I have the Gilles on my R1M, I agree they are a big improvement, I made an extra notch so they go even lower
was it a straight forward job fitting these on your blade ? , and do you get a new rod for the quickshifter or is the standard one used , thanks .
Yes they were easy to fit, but i have been working on bikes for years, Sorry i can't remember about the shift rod been looking for pictures of them fitted but can find any of the gear shifter side.
well decided today and ordered some gia moto rearsets , will see what they are like and they arrive .
well got these yesterday and im off work today so I thought I will get these on , great quality . sorry about the pics as its the only way I could put them on . lol
be interested to get your thoughts, did you get the fixed pedal or folding? They do look nice, are you holing for more legroom or track ?
yes I did, having them fully back and down drops the knee quite a bit, made a big difference on track I was able to lock into the bike far better
Man those Giamotos look great, only 5.9 but my biggest issue is the tight space between my toes and the standard shift leaver. Going to order a set too. Thanks for the post
