Hi Guys, I am thinking of fitting the Brembo Calipers off a 2015 SP to my 2015 none SP CBR1000rr. I know they are 108mm, but will they align to the discs OK? Cheers!
Two things to check.... If the SP's are Genuine M4's then just have a look at brembo site (or even a reseller, someone like omnia racing...) as you'll probably just need longer bolts (as I did with the GPRX) or possibly spacers..
Looks like you'll just need the 60mm caliper bolts.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/382528999165 You might be able to find them cheaper but here is a link... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/123388034718 You'll also need new 1.0 mm pitch banjo bolts as brembo use 1.00 as opposed to 1.25 that Honda use https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/183986312810
Great! Thanks for the help. I am looking at the original Honda M4's with the feed in the center, as opposed to the M4's with the feed at the front. I just wasn't sure if I would need spacers or not?... Cheers!
Pleased to say... all done. They fit perfect, no spacers needed as they line up with the disc perfectly and as I purchased the Honda SP Brembos, the brake lines fitted straight on.
Only the calipers, I had already changed the bolts to titanium on the original calipers and the length was the same @ 61mm.
