Please check you have this rubber cover on your undertray

    Hi all

    As you may know, my regulator rectifier was duff, so I put a new one on and a new battery. The reg rec was all wet and corroded, which is due to hosing my bike down when washing it. There is a rubber cover, which is taken out/falls out when taking off the battery's rubber strap harness. The access hole is to help pull the battery strap through to get it on the hook. I've circled it in the diagram below #3

    I hate to see bikes/cars pressure washed as they are not designed for the high water pressure. the water will pass a lot of seals so it is a no for me

    Yep! I agree. When I take any of my bikes in for a service, I always say... please, do not pressure wash it off.
