    Good evening all,

I collect my new weapon on Saturday, 2019 model. Is there anything I should be looking out for and what upgrades would you recommend?

    Many thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum - if you do nothing else fit a radiator guard. For appearances a tail tidy is the easiest way to clean up the lines and well within the abilities of most home mechanics. Videos are available to explain and there’s always going to be someone on here to assist if you get stuck.

From what I hear a lot of heartache can be avoided by sticking with the standard rear tyre profile when that comes up for changing.

    Hello and welcome.

The bike is fab as it is.. but yes radiator guard, tail tidy, engine covers (or crash bungs like on mine) are well worth it.

Post some pics as soon as you get it :D Is it the S1-K model with the updated electronics? Easy way to tell is there's 5 categories of adjustment bottom left of the dash. Only 40 of them in the UK so it's pretty rare!

D5B17D46-D2A7-4364-9234-BF521966E739.jpeg Here she is. After a 3 1/2 hour ride this morning in all sorts of weather it is safe to say that I love this thing! One stop half way for fuel and no issues at all. If I had to comment anything negative it would be that my backside went numb but that would be the same on any I imagine.
    Impressed!

Looks good ...supercorsa look new are they the 2nd set or originals ....always good fun in this weather ...wish I had deeper pockets then this time of year would switch to a more road tyre like the Rosso corsa although once the supercorsa has some heat in them they are just about OK...

Probably the original set mate. I’ll probably change them for Metzeler Sportec M7’s when they are ready, only because of experience with them I had them on my ZX10 and they were cracking all year round.
