Heloo guys , this is my first post on any forum but i really need help. Yesterday i finally got some xford heatd grips , and i did like the manual said , remove bar ends , remove old grips (i cut them ) and clean the glue . But on the throtle side i couldn't get them on because it had too much plastic so i had to trim away a lot to match it to the oxford grips , when i finnaly stopped trimming after an hour and so , i glued the grip inside and then a little on the plastic throtle , i did the wiring , checked if they work , they did work so i called it a night . Now in the morning i went to check them , and the right side , the thortle , sticks , it doesn't go back , so i decied to trim a bit so it doesnt touch with them bar end , but it didnt and i still cut a bit , that didnt solve the issue . So , if anyone knows what to to , please let me know , this is really frusrating and i really dont know what i could to the grips that i got :Oxford premium heated grips touring version Motorcycle : suzuki marauder 125 2004
Have you checked the end of the throttle nearest the inside for glue residue and a gap so it can rotate back? (I.e what you checked at the bar end ) when I first changed a set of grips I put too much glue on and also had a sticking issue... Check for excess glue causing would be my advice....
Loosen the bar end and see if it still sticks. I guess not as that is what I normally find and end up trimming a bit more and holding the bar end out as I tighten it.
As above also make sure cable going to the grip is free to move, if you've cable tied it too close or not left enough slack this can restrict free movement of the throttle.
