Didn't know these existed until recently, I know they're probably frowned upon but the full set of 5 bags cost about £100 one 30L two 20L and two 10L and included all the various straps etc. so thought I'd get some to try out for some long trips next summer. They arrived within a week.
Honestly the quality seems extremely good, if you need any more info or specific pictures let me know!
Where did you order from, Aliexpress? I've already got a Kriega US10, US20 and R20, could do with a US30 for when I go to Spain in September. Not sure i can stomach another £140 after having spent £300 on bags already, this might be the answer.
Kriegas aregood bags but always seemed very overpriced to me, like most motorcycle specific stuff I suppose. I definitely trust the chinese bags from initial impressions, at the end of the day its a ripstop nylon bag with some buckles, hard to mess up really lol.
Ordered the 30litre from same store as you. Cost me £22.39 shipped because as a new user to Aliexpress I got a £2 coupon.
I wonder if there as waterproof as Kriega had mine six years and never let a drop of water in be good to compare
It has the same dry sack design with the seperate liner bag so I can't see how it wouldn't keep the water out, I've filled one with air and given it a squeeze and none escapes so seems like it should hold up.
Deffo worth a go, I've had a r35 and US10 for over 13 years and the US lining is completely disintegrated. Not sure whether to get genuine liner or one of these?
Entire bag for not much more than the price of a new liner, I know which I'd choose! The Chinese liner may even fit the kriega as a bonus?
Mine has said its been shipped.....track the package and it says "your package will arrive within 72 Days,12hrs, 10min and 4 seconds"
My 30 litre fake Kriega US30 arrived today. Have to say I'm well impressed. On the outer bag the materials used appear to be comparable. Side by side with my genuine bags I can't see as the materials or stitching are any inferior. The inner white liner isn't quite as thick as the standard but it's not far off. Also the opening on the inner bag is about 20mm wider than the outer so where its velcroed in it has to ruck up a little bit in 2 places but nothing serious. Delivery was about 2 weeks.
Chinese copy. I wouldn't give them room in the garage. You pays your money and you takes your choice. It'll be too late when you're in Spain with all your clothing piss wet through. One thing I note from the pics is that the Kriega has more material to fold down. Not for me, I'm out.
A dry bag is a dry bag, side note: I had the 10L version for 2.5 years and it never leaked, I saved my money and took my choice but thanks for your input .
