Good evening, I want to de-cat my 2019 SP and am wondering if anyone knows if it’s as easy as removing the cat and installing a link pipe in its place like my Ninja was? thanks.
There is a company on the net, Dominator that can supply a link pipe, this is advertised at under £100 and involves cutting the CAT section off and replacing, so I guess if careful this could be done without removing the headers. I removed mine and took them to a metal fabricator I knew and had them de catted, I'm happy with this as it looks completely standard, but apart from sounding much better it also has gained a couple of HP. The best mod in my opinion, but I think you will need to have it mapped, I have a Rapid Bike EVO which auto tunes and there mine was fine.
