Hi all, as per title really. I have a racefit on my bike and the previous owner did not get it mapped after fitting it.

I have searched online but woild value the thoughts of fellow member of this forum.

    Cheers

Thanks for the suggestions. Its around 500 notes which seemed expensive to me. But maybe thats the going rate as i have only ever had my cars remapped before.

Thats a good price if that includes PCV supply, fitment and custom map.

I’ve heard good things about Steve Jordan’s and I’ve also heard/had mixed reviews with Dave woods as local to me

I always thought an ecu map is around £300-400 Mark?

Going to Dave Woods this week so will let you know - he was recommended to me by local garage to me that said he wouldn't take bikes anywhere else. Suppose the thing is if the tune makes a big difference to your bike you'll think its well worth the money and the garage is great. I took my Triumph Street RS to Hilltop and nice guys but absolutely no difference to the bike, in feel or on dyno map - was a bit of a suprise! Hoping Dave Wood with the blade will make a noticeable difference though - Yoshi pipe, decat, o2 eliminator, pipercross air filters, pair mod, flapper mod. Bike to me feels good but with those changes must be something to tweak!

Had to call off Dave Woods tomorrow as bikes got a charging problem and won't make it through the day!. Will rebook when sorted and give a write up as to how it goes

Please do come and share your feedback once she's done mate, I'm well happy ECU flashing is now a thing on 08's, I never felt like a PCV was anywhere near a proper solution for getting my bike running as well as she can.

Are you running a Power Commander already? What year bike?

I don’t really understand it all but never had a PC on any of my bikes always just had the ecu flashed. They use Woolwich software.. again, no idea what that means but folk seem to go on about it.
    Mines a 2019.
