Does anyone race, or ride British Mini Bikes? I've raced at 2 events now, what a crack!!! So I've been building a little RM85, but in the meantime I got myself a little Chinese 140 and entered the 140 class. First time ever racing on tarmac and what a scream!!!! If anyone is looking to get into racing, or just to have a go, look at your local karting center, pick up a cheap bike for about a grand and give it a shot. A race weekend will set you back £110 if you need to hire a transponder, 20ltrs of fuel should sort your weekend out with a Genny and then you can make it as expensive, or as cheap as you like. The championship is all over the UK. But for a local bit of fun we use Kinsham, M4 Karting and Swindon. Check out your local Karting track to see if they have a bike day / night. Honestly, for the money it's class! Always get to scratch that little itch.
