I’m considering swapping my 18 SP1 for new 2021 3R blade. I have test ridden one in the past and I was impressed, but then I handed it back. I’m swaying towards a standard 3R and not the SP. I genuinely believe an SP is wasted on me, but maybe you think it’s worth the extra. If you own one, what’s your verdict?
Haven’t ridden one, does it matter if it’s wasted on you? If you want it and can afford it why not, it’s nice to own something special.
Swapped my '19 SP for a 21 SP and it really is the next level and enjoying it soo much. The next generation Ohlins and particularly the front end feel is the best I have experienced on any bike. The fit and finish is quality. Comfortable enough for me for up to an hour in the saddle, I'd go for the standard if you are going to use it mostly on track but if you are going to use it mostly on the road, I'd recommend the SP.
