Another one up for sale... I stupidly test rode a V4s at the weekend (been putting it off for a couple of years) and being a Ducati fan boy am smitten... Similar to Liam, I have a very young family and don't get a lot of time to Ride anymore (a couple of trackdays the odd commute and maybe handful of weekend rides on my todd) and can't really justify having two bikes.. the V4s is so flexible it can be a do it all bike for me so am going to sell my blade and my 1098R to fund this and have a few quid spare for bling bits and Nursery fees :-D

I've spent an awful lot on this and although I'll probably recoup more for it by putting it back standard I thought I'd advertise it as is initially, I'll potentially strip it after my trackday on June 22nd so parts maybe available then if it doesn't go before...

Here is a link to the eBay ad ( https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234042492978 ), it is priced very highly as let's face it, everyone will offer minimum £500 - £1k less but am open to sensible offers... quick synopsis and a pic below..

Smashing-looking bike with a hell of a big extras list, GLWS!

I am wondering about the front paddock stand placement, should they be resting on the calipers, I thought they go at the bottom of the forks? Like this - [IMG]

I do both depending on what I need to gain access to, it's fine. Imagine the braking force at that point trying to rotate the calipers braking hard from 180... it'll be a lot higher than the weight of the front of the bike.

    OP: Nice bike.

Thanks @Stuish.. probably going to end up pulling all the bits off it to be honest and selling it as standard (ish) as understandably most people don't want to spend that sort of money on a 10 year old bike and not to everyone's taste..... yeah that Paddock stand has two arms that the calipers rest on, they are too far apart for the fork bottoms.. but as @dern says calipers and mounts are pretty robust the a amount of force they put up with...
