Yes mate, its a hepco and becker rack. It clicks in place of the seat and just has a foam seal round it.
I reckon I 'll have to cancel my trip planned for May.....really disappointed. I'll wait till early April & see the lie of the land, but the way things are at the moment, the law is fining us €500 for non essential travel to airports/ports. Then there is the neg covid test & quarantine. I wouldn't mind, except I had covid in December & have received my 2 shots of vaccine.
Unlucky mate. Its looking like the UK will be in a good place in May just the rest of Europe won't be.
Me and a friend stayed two nights in a stunning town called potes, it’s probably a couple of hours away from Santander but depending what time you get off of the ferry it’s just about right, fantastic mountain roads right on its doorstep.
The road from Santander into potes is stunning, runs in a valley and skips from one side to the other, every road into or out of there is fantastic especially up the mountain if you get a clear run as there’s miles of switchbacks.
Lovely bar in potes called casa angel, there’s many actually dotted about in the small winding alleys right by the river.
P-210 Cervera De Pisuerga to Velila Del Rio Carrion, probably one of the best roads around the Picos, on toward Boca De Huergano P-215,L-233 back on the N621. CL-635 Buron to Puerto De Tarna onto LE-333( was a tad pothole but was re due to be resurfaced onto LE-331 to Bonar.. You could go to Picos for 2 weeks and find a new road everyday and not get bored, we stayed in Potes at Hostel El Caserio Casa, house that slept all 10 of us and a swimming pool next door, underground garage aswell, couple minutes from the Casa Cabo takeaway bar. Every evening take a run upto the cable car on the C-182, and upto the Stag on the P-621. But expect the torrential downpour so always carry wet gear. Portugal, just google Serra De Estrella and the Doura Valley
International travel will be allowed for us in Ireland. The digital green card/cert will be in place for those who are full vaccinated. If I don't get to go, I'll be rightly pissed off. Been looking forward to this trip since lasts years Picos trip in Sep.
Excellent. I still need something to change in the rules to allow me to go in September. I don't have enough holidays to quarantine when I get home. Hoping the rumours about no quarantine for vaccinated people will come good or Spain changes to green.
@R.M what are your Covid testing rules looking like for your trip? We can travel to mainland Spain now and not quarantine if we're double jabbed. It looks like we still need to get a test 2 days after returning and 2 days before departing Spain! I can't find any information about getting a test in Spain before we leave.
As far as I'm aware, once fully vaccinated, no quarantine or tests required on entry to Spain or on return to Ireland.
