The level seems to have dropped just shy of the lower mark.
Never bought coolant for the bike before!

Should I get OEM Honda or is there a better one?
    Thanks

If it's not due to be changed I'd just be topping it up with water if it's only a little bit below the min mark.

Which should preferably be deionised water.

I just use Castrol GP with distilled water out of the air con.

As an aside, bought all the fancy additives to allow the bike to run cooler and TBH they made no difference!

They won't, the thermostat is the thing that regulates engine temperature.

It'll be such a small amount that it'll make no difference if you use tap water.

    :)

I have plenty of distilled water so no issue so as dern mentioned, for such a small amount I'll just settle with that.

I have found the coolant level must be checked with the engine at normal temp and not cold as I had done:rolleyes:
Castrol is what my local honda dealer now stocks.
Sure honda must have a good discount with them. First the engine oil, now coolant

I thought it is supposed to be distilled as deionised still has all the calcium etc, But agree probably wont make much difference, I have filled my kettle 20 ish times a day for 5 years still ok, Boiler heat exchanger thousands of gallons through still ok, bike fill once in 5 years, logic says you are not going to have an issue.

Got a liter of OEM Honda from David silver. They have good stock at the moment but no more once finished.

Took 150ml to get it just above the upper level marking.
Just as challenging as checking the oil level

If you filled to the max at cold expect it to overflow, it will normally do this after you switch off! So if you see a puddle watch out as it is super slippy as I found out when I was showing off in front of my MD!
