How to spot fake ASV levers?

Anyone know? I have bought some from ebay used but I'm just not 100% sure they aren't chinese fakes.

 

They do say ASV on the front of the lever and were from a 2008 bike if that makes any difference.

Agree that they look like Chinese knock off's.

Get straight back onto the seller and request a return for a refund, or better yet go through ebay abitration stating that an "expert" has verified them to be counterfeit (dont quote @Manofsteel as your expert though )

As the others have mentioned, they look fake. The span adjusters are not the ASV style which are adjuster wheels rather than a adjuster tab.

 

The part numbers are Pazzo but the style and positioning don't look right.

 

I have requested a return and the seller has agreed. He said he took them off his bike when he bought it but either way they are snide.

You've been quite lucky there, getting a refund on used bike parts from a private seller.

Anything I sell on ebay is offered with no returns or refund. But then again I wouldn't sell anyone a load of shite!!

I'd of returned them purely because they are gold!!! Whatever possessed you??
