Hi has anyone fitted these with reverse shift please. I am probably reading the instructions wrong as it says with a quickshift fitted you only have to move the actuating rod to the frontmost hole surely there must be some alteration to the the actuating arm on the gearbox as well. On other Gilles rearsets I have had before I have had to reverse the actuating arm for reverse (GP) shift. My bike is a CBR1000 RR SP.
My rearsets aren't Gilles but they're the same when it comes to changing from road to race. The manual is right, you need to move to the hole infront of the pivot for raceshift and behind it for road. Although you may also need to adjust the length of the shift rod to get the right height on the peg. Depending how much adjustment you left in your shift rod when installing the quickshifter this will be easy enough.
