Ok so I have to replace my ecu anyone know if I can just get a ecu on its own and code my original key to it? Or if I have to get a new key? If I have to get a new key how can it be coded with the used replacement ecu, I researched how to code a spare key but they start by connecting the harness and turn the original key on and off then they put the spare key in but I assume that's not going to work in my case Thanks in advance
It can be done yes. Its just the chip in the key so should be ble to recode it to any ecu. Best give the dealer a call. You have also get keys from them. I do have a UK spec ECU for sale aswell
