Hi guys I know it's a suzuki but thought it might be worthy of posting on here. I'm lucky enough to take possession of this legendary bike , the last bike david rode before he was tragically killed. The bike set the fastest lap in practice at 122mph.
Very very nice and a lovely bit of history, I’d keep it serviced and maintained but not change any patina and use it, I’ve got a couple of ex race bikes and can spend ages staring at them.
I know what you mean mate, there almost magical. I do try and use it as much as I can as it's so nice to ride. Couple of mates got ex race bikes to that we do the shows with. I'm keeping my eyes open for another one possibly but people asking daft money at the moment for them.
I’ve got gus Scott’s ex bsb k3, the previous owner was going to strip it and sell the parts separately and I couldn’t let that happen so bought it, he wrote for pb magazine and was killed at the tt when a Marshall walked across the track in front of him, I bought Nicky Hayden’s 2016 wsb bike as well, that’s really trick.
I remember that k3. Saw it in a pb magazine years ago at a track day. That Nicky hayden bike is special too mate. Do you get to ride them much??
I haven’t so far no, hopefully this year I can, a friends son called lucca Allen is hopefully going to ride the Nicky bike at the festival of a thousand bikes and goodwood this year.
