Noticed some of you replace the crappy standard P-clips when installing upgraded brake hoses ... So I bought some nice black ones off eBay... They fit the hose fine but how the heck do you attach to the bike? They are too short? - the standard clips have extensions ... Anyone with pictures fitted so I can take a look?
Can't beat a bit of tube between the brake line/ fork tube, a cable tie round the fork tube thru' the tube then round the brake line and back thru' the tube and zipped up does it for me.
Standard rubber backed P-clips are sold everywhere, ebay has plenty. The coloured anodized ones aren't as readily available but Goodridge make them and they are sold on Demon Tweeks.
Ak sound thanks for the relpy do you know if i need any scewa for them or anything like that ? Thanks 4 the reply again
The clips for the hoses closest to the calipers should retain the original fixings, you're just fitting the P-Clips. The only place you might need a nut and bolt is directly beneath the bottom yoke. If you've gone for twin line setup from the MC to the front calipers then you will want to use 2 P-clips underneath the bottom yoke in a butterfly arrangement.
