Tank noise!!!

Please help. I have a 2016 blade tt edition. I have recently noticed every time after a ride my tank makes noise and I have to release fuel cap to depressurise! Then it stops. Is this normal? Lot of forums say it is. advice ???

 

It happens to me too. I was thinking of asking the same question.
I've not experienced this phenomena on any other bikes I've owned, but I guess that's because this is the first bike I've owned that's got 3 or 4 layers of Euro crap on it.

 

I have a 2015 repsol mate and this happens to mine and has for the 18 months I’ve had it,it’s something I’ve noticed but not thought anything about.

 

My wallet makes the same noise when I need to fill up Not very helpful sorry

 

Don’t know I’m right to say it’s normal but both my 2014 and 2016 did/do it

 

It's normal it did it on my tt edition and the other 2016 blades I've had. No need to release it, it shuts up after a bit

 

Thanks guys, I have been googling hundreds of answers and all said that it was a normal thing and that it was actually in the manual !! bloody annoying though .

 

I have only had this blade for a small while. Absolutely love it.

 

My arse does the some thing after a curry and a few pints of Kingfisher, not sure if the 2 issues are linked but it’s normal, so no need to depressurise as that’s what the tank vent is doing automatically.

 

so stop opening the tank after I stop every time is what u say my friend

 

Yep, more chance of blowing yourself up when yer fag slips out of yer mouth when you keep opening the tank, than any damage being caused by the tank venting itself after a run out

 

Yes I loved mine more than any other bike I've had until I wrote it off I'm still gutted. If yours is non abs and you ever think of selling it let me know know
