    Spring has temporarily arrived here in the IOM, dry roads and 15 degrees = first outing on the blade.

    Great conditions, roads not too busy, no farm muck on the roads but there were two downsides.

    First, mountain road still shut between Ramsey and Bungalow.
    Secondly, I started to get double vision...bit concerning TBH. Stopped to take lid off at one point to check I hadn't left anything in it!

    Same Arai RX7 as last year, it's always been a bit tight as I lcan't stand a helmet that wobbles about, but never affected my eyesight. I had an eye test recently and all OK (apart from needing glasses to read) What you reckon? Has my head swollen up over this COVID winter and lid too small now? Should i get smaller cheek pads or maybe a new lid? Or could it just be as I haven't worn it and ridden at any speed since last September?

    If you need readers that means your eyesight is not great !!o_O:D

    Your lid will have given over time so wouldn't have thought that would be the issue.

    So you think you may have put weight on, so now you have a fat head, poor vision and possibly greying hair and a pot belly??

    Its called getting old brother!!!!:eek::D:D:D:D

    (Speaking from experience of course:rolleyes:)

    Have you suffered with it prior to or since taking the bike out @okeloon? Have you tried wearing the helmet since (just sitting watching tv) to see if it brings on the same sensation?
    Has anything else changed like a new jacket maybe and the collar is pressing differently?

    I developed double vision, optician referred me to the hospital, optician there added some prism to my glasses.
    Solved.

    If you need reading glasses obviously vision isn't 100% may be worth having another test and don't cheat this time by guessing the letters;)

    We all try but some are more successful than others.
    It's actually more difficult than one might imagine
