Yes I suppose I am heading in that direction. I'm 60 this year so it's a compromise between a Fireblade and a zimmer frame.

According to @vic_ster51 that zimmer frame will take any blade engine from 08+:D

Here you go, basically, two lines from the master using the longer bolt supplied (HEL Racing setup) then down the usual route, f/r line remade use of the pclip bracket then down to caliper. F/l went same route but reused pclip bracket on the mudguard.

    Sorry for my photography skills

If you referring to does any cbr1000rr engine 08-19 fit in a cb1000rr 08-19 frame and vice versa.
    Then it is does Fact!
Could be a joke/you think you know better maybe? But don't knock other people's knowledge :)

I just want to add, I have the greatest respect for your technical knowledge. If I wanted something for my bike and you gave me advice, I would trust you, no problem.

I've heard tyres are getting more difficult to get hold of because of the Ukraine conflict, you'll have to let us know how you get on.

What does everyone do with all the ABS system they took off. Mines just sitting in a bag in the garage and I'm 2ondering if its worth anything to anyone? Obviously no one in this thread but would it be worth selling. Anyone still with abs and a failure could want a part like an module or pump? What do you reckon? Worth trying to sell?

I dunno, if you had ABS and the pump failed, would you bother replacing the pump, or would you use the excuse to rip it all out? I think I'd do the latter.

Yeah, thats what I did but I wondered if some people might be adamant to keep their system in and therefore could save a lot on used parts? Might just list it and see if any takers and then dump it if not.

Possible that kill switch needs a clean or maybe side stand switch or wiring has been cut?

Yes the two are not connected. The only thing you should see is the abs warning light on the dashboard should stay lit after you’ve passed 10km/h.
