Hi all new here (posted my bike in new member section)

I own a 2021 fireblade RR-R SP from new (bought this year however) I'm getting intermittent front brake issues on my brembo. Every so often it just goes right to the bar but no braking force/reduced. Went into the dealer to book it in for warranty (friday being picked up next saturday) however I cannot get the issue to repeat itself, my fear is they will try and deny the issue.

Anyone else getting the same problem with theirs?

    Kind regards

    I’m getting deja vu.
This is first I’ve heard of it on a triple R.
If the past is anything to go by they will deny its existence.
There is an enormous thread on here to do with 2012 ABS issues.

they said they'll take a look, i have photos of it happening and a video aswell if they need it, but i can't replicate it over multiple days. as once you prime it it fixes itself, however you don't know your brakes won't work,

I think it’s all years the C-ABS was fitted which is probably up to and including 2016 models. Didn’t they switch to Bosch ABS from ‘17? I HOPE Honda threw their old system in the bin when they bought the Bosch.

Hopefully it's just a one off and the dealership sorts you out. Don't remember reading any threads on here of any 17+ bikes behaving like this.

Still shouldn’t be doing this. But definitely could be air stuck in the ABS pump. Realistically I would be returning the bike and get them to cycle the ABS pump to remove it. Not something you would expect on any bike, let alone 200HP flagship model. Hope you get it sorted out soon.

There's loads of posts about this kind of thing and frankly I don't think I could have a blade with ads no matter what age it is. I wrote off my last one last year when I locked up the front brake in a corner avoiding a car which pulled out as I went to overtake and sometimes think it wouldn't have happened it I had abs but seeing a brake lever back at the bars and no braking scares me way more, I hope Honda fix it for you mate as that is not right at all.
