Thought I might as well hijack the thread to show my new bike...... Absolutely loving it so far. Use it far more than I ever used the Blade. It's so nice to sit up straight Not planned on modding it much but ditched the mahoosive screen and swapped out the wheel hugging front mudguard for the beak style mudguard off the R version.

Same here, did it on my Blade in 2015 - did you get a picture ? Been that way a few times on different bikes, even on a pushbike once ! If the weather is nice it is better than going through the tunnel - and get a photo as well ! Not sure if you remember how narrow some of the roads are on the French side of the Somport crossing. Really narrow in places as they wind through the valley, and through little villages. Lots of road works going on to broaden it out it seems to me - lots of gravel on the road as well ! Not sure what their plans are for the route, but for now it is still a nice place to cross.
Nice one ! I Like the bike - good picture ! You managed to carry some luggage all right then, looks like you were lucky with the weather as well. I never thought to go to car park and look at the view - doh ! Lovely roads on the Spanish side. Bardenas Reales - a semi desert is not far from there really. That is where I was heading for on this trip. Stay a few days next time.
Yes, great Spanish roads through to the Picos. The worst bit is the slog back up to Derbyshire. Hope to get back there now covid is done.
