Although when this promised global warming appears we’ll be able to ride 11 months of the year. Just not July cos it’ll be way too hot!
After crawling all over my fuel pump circuit - found the reason it stopped pumping a few days ago. Traced it to a dodgy wire - one of the hot black and whites to the pump relay wasn't hot. Turned out to just be a bad connection inside this little sonofabitch. It's a snazzy branch connector that turns one b/w into a whole bunch that then go off and power allsorts. Wasn't even dirty or fritzed. Just pulled the bridge out, popped it back in again and good to go. Pain in the ass.
Fitted Chinese fairing kit, pleasantly surprised at initial quality and standard, all fixings and locators in correct position, paint seems good, couple very very minor imperfections. But yes very pleased, 2 months waiting time No tax/duty to uk (may just been lucky) Ordered from, eBay, username Full-lucky.
A simple bit of removing of a part. Defeated by the black-black-on-black colour scheme one you get the fairings off. Working with a flood lamp in my ear does nothing for my chill-factor. Maybe tomorrow I'll roll it out into the sun...
Today - had an opportunity to test and tune the Healtech Quickshifter I bought off @Muffking a few weeks ago. Yesterday - fitted a Black Widow exhaust with an extra baffler in the front (cos trackdays). Day before that - removed all the PAIR and flapper valve crap, and fitted some PAIR block-off plates. Tomorrow - forgetting the 'blade, gonna work on my Ducati
When roads are this quiet it would have been disrespectful not to get out on them. Bit chilly and threatening to drizzle to start with but turned good.
Had a spin what is wrong with some people lost one through the fast bits then in the villages I do back off then the knob jockey doing at least 60 in a 30 bombs by so hunt on ....reel them in and whoosh passes nice and wide then I back off next village and the TT wannabe has anther go however a car coming the other way couldn't get by in a 30 so once into national 2nd gear bang bye bye twat ....no wonder the locals have had enough ...pin it in the countryside but respect the villages ...
Been playing with epoxy/microfibre a lot recently. Always quite enjoyed it. This week it's pilot light mounts for the LED conversion on the KTM but last week it was a similar sight for rebuilding a lower fairing lug area on the blade.
