Hi and welcome to the forum!

Unbelievable that someone would leave such a lovely bike to rust away in a garage, be interesting to know the circumstances in why its been left to gather dust??

    Great find though :)

Hello and welcome, when someone say barn find you expect an old Triumph or BSA not an RR7 Fireblade :D .

Create a thread for the work you do on it ;) I'm interested as I have a RR7 :)

I know it's mental that someone would scrap this but let me tell you the "story" (every bike's got one) from what I can gather here's the jist of it.
2015 a professor of economics is retiring and this was his gift to himself it had about 10k on it, he did a few miles and had a low speed high side causing light damage (clip on and some throttle side switchgear replaced), the bike went into the garage under orders of the missus, it sat for a while then his son decided to have a go, same thing, few thou mls then one low speed off and the missus goes raj !, bike goes back in the garage with 16k on it around 2019 and there it sat til my brother was doing work for the professor and it was then I heard about it as it the prof was going to get my brother to organize a scrappy to come and get it.
So that's how I got it, I've given it a once over and a quick wash and it's not bad at all, obviously fluids flushed and all consumables but I'm hoping that'll be it, it is a Honda after all, oh if there's anyone on here works for Victor Devines then you'll know this bike, sold serviced and repaired there. 20220912_161243.jpg

Hello and welcome, that’s a great find. Hopefully not require too much to get it back to its former glory.
