Nice. I've not done a Euro yet, but I need to get one organised, possibly next year.

Well what an absolutely awesome time at Portimao.......
Cracking time on track and even got mt best lap time time of 2:05.59 last time i went i was on my 2011 blade and previous best lap of 2:09.... So well chuffed!!! The RR-R is an absolute rocket ship down the start/finish straight.... the only thing quicker was the Ducati V4s...... i was out dragging everything else :) Massive grins all round :) :)
I had an issue with the rear sprocket on day one, I had an ally AFAM light weight rear sprocket on and it didn't last very long!! So i am never using light weight sprockets ever again!! (it had only done 4000 miles in total) So after help from No Limits and a chat with a chap that supplies parts to endurance teams he sourced me a rear sprocket as the local bike shops had nothing. So I had to do a 320 mile round trip to get hold of another rear sprocket but well worth it.

Now this weekend i will watch the WSBK and see how Portimao is ridden properly ;)

So i am off to Swindon on Saturday morning to collect the bike :)

Next year i think Almeria is on the cards :)

I’ve had the pleasure on track at Portimao, it has a challenge to master all the turns, blind summits and fast entry onto the finishing straight. And it flows well.
I’m booked to go back, next May.
Im heading to Almeria in 5 days time. New bike, more power, so hoping to knock off some time on my best lap time.

Not sure why your sprocket didn’t last. Was your chain tensioned correctly, as I’ve used these sprockets on numerous occasions.
