Is the fan seized or stiff and is there any wiring damage. Is where I would start .

Thanks for your reply. The fan seems to be fine spins freely, wires look good, the bike has only 19000 miles so it’s very clean , the bike runs fine it’s just I was in some traffic and noticed the temp was getting high , and I have a black 929 and the fan cuts in at about 102 ish on that one , so I got home and let it run in my garage and it got to 106 and no fan so checked fuses and it was blown ,so I replaced it and it blow straight away, I really don’t want to put a manual switch if I can help it, !

Yes , as soon as you put the fuse in , the bike does not have to be running , soon as you turn key ,

My knowledge of your model is none. But being a FI model I'm assuming it has a fan relay? You have a dead short somewhere, remove the relay fit the fuse and power up to start with.
If you have a wiring diagram send it to me and I'll have a look.

Well I’ve just taken bike apart and cleaned up all plugs running to the fan. And checked all wires running to fuse box! And all earth wires that I could find, put a new fuse in and , bingo ! Fan cut in at 103 and I let it run until temp went down to 90 od and then it switched off, I’ve checked it 3 times now and all good . But I would like to say a big thank you to Broadie who was willing to take his time to help

    Great news.
Did you find anything obvious? Sometimes it's as little as undo and do up a plug.

No I didn’t find anything funny ? I wonder if you can give me a little advice on battery voltage, I’ve just fitted a new stator. , and on idle it’s reading 14, 5. I put lights on and its 14, 2 when I put main beam on its 13 8. , I was just wondering what is to high , I don’t want to fit a new RR if not needed? I would be much appreciated for your input

13 to 14.5 v is fine you don't want it to go any higher. I'd also check the voltage at a steady 5000 rpm
