Hi and welcome mate, i waited a long time too to get my blade. I am a m/c instructor and have recently done my IAM advanced course which was epic and i hugely recommend; it costs about the same as a trackday and will make most people a smoother, safer rider and not necessarily slower! With regard to track days i am going with some friends to Aleria, Spain at the end of April for 5 days on track with Focused Events. They ship your bike to and from Spain, 5 nights in a 4* hotel (B&B) and the 5 days on track all for under £600. Ridiculous and as it's my first time on track i wanted more than just a day to allow some of the knowledge to bed in. Enjoy your bike mate and will look out for info on your new skills Mike
Cheers Mike !! that is a great idea for Spain never thought of it I have signed up for bike safety course with the police (thanks to the people that said about that) and also going to head to the south of france in April for a long bike ride!!! Hopefully catch up with people out and about riding -- thanks for the warm welcome.
