    Hi all,

When I bought the bike I also bought a set of R&G cut frame sliders for my 07 blade. Never got round to installing them until now.

Have marked out the centrepoint for drilling the hole but noticed that the 28mm diameter bore specified in the instructions would mean the hole 'overhangs' the edge of the fairing...

Does anyone also have an 06/07 blade with these sliders installed and if so can you confirm if the hole for them is meant to be fully contained within the fairing or whether it overhangs like it seems to on mine.

My fairings are custom made ones so potentially measurements are off...

    Cheers

I think I only cut a hole for the spacer and not the actual slider.

Thanks for the input chaps, still on the fence about whether I really want to cut through the edge of the fairing rather than just a hole...

Have either of you had the pleasure of actually using them in anger, did they fair well?

Hole is a half circle shape on mid fairing - were installed on bike when I got it. Don't like bungs so removed, now left with silly cutouts! My advice don't drill out fairings - either get no drill bungs or leave off. Shame you hadn't got a HRC, would have swapped my fairings with you and save you the hassle :)

Any particular reason you don't like bungs?

Heard very bad things about the no drill bungs for 07. Along the lines of it needing the engine dropped to replace secondary damage to the water pump outlet caused by them collapsing...
