Hi guys i wanted to check how many sets of brake pads you think i might need for 5 days in Spain. I know its not a straight forward question but as a newbie - so hopefully won't be pushing too hard but being a bit sensible for once in my life - will i get away with a new set on and a spare set or will i need more?

2 sets including the ones on the bike will be fine.

    Thanks mate thats really helpful.

Any recommendations on which pads and/or where to buy them.

    So just to be clear:
    • The set that is on the bike
    • an additional 2 x sets of front pads
    • an additional 2 x sets of rear pads

Not sure you’re gonna need 2 spare sets of rears. Unless you really really use the rear all time.

If you get SBS sintered make sure they are the RST not the RS. The RST are the slightly better version.

Or just get GPFAX but I think you’ll need to switch em back if you take the bike back on the road?

Also make sure you take some good brake fluid (Motul 660) and a way to bleed the brakes.

For a noob - I doubt you'll go through 1 set but take another set just in case.

Depends on the track as well to be honest.
