    Some sticky-fingered dick wads nicked my black & white Blade the other day.
    I'd just fitted new Michelin 6's on it too.
    Had RSV levers, Akrapovic & almost everything from the R&G shop!
    If anyone sees spares up for sale....
    I've ordered a 20th anniversary one & hope to collect tomorrow.
    Bennetts charged £135 to change policy over! IMG-20230510-WA0002.jpg FB_IMG_1683890438913.jpg

    Does anyone know if the ABS works on a 2013 model?

    £135!! Daylight Rob… oh :oops:
    I hope you get all your money back and the new blade makes up for it in some way.

    The abs worked on my ‘14 which is the same system.

    That anniversary doesn't have ABS, but in answer to your question there are known issues to some riders with the pre2017 system that Honda deny.

    @Boothman. I hope you're right, but they've described it as an ABS model.
    @Lozzy. Oh bugger. I'm going to be busy removing it then, but at least I'll save some weight.

    Yes @Boothman s right about that model. I didn't look at the picture fully but I can see its not got abs on it if that's the one you've got.
    For your info I think dealers cut and paste the waffle because they described the sp I bought as abs but I could see from the photos at the time that it wasn't :rolleyes:

    The ABS bikes tend to have gold painted callipers and all have a pregnant bump in the seat undertray to house the gubbins. The photo you’ve posted has neither :)

    It will also have the sensors and rings on both wheels if ABS, mine is 2013 with abs they are a bit spongy but always worked ok, I don't think this system will ever be the same as direct non abs, my calipers are brown

    Another clue in the Honda ABS formula?

    a+b=c

    a=Fireblade 08-16
    b=Brown calipers
    c=Brown underpants.

    I collected it yesterday & am relieved you're right. No ABS.
    I'm also pleased it comes with Showa.
    No pillion seat though. Not that I take pillions, but the hump won't allow my Held tail bag.

    That is a relief for you I’m sure and you can pick a seat up easy enough from eBay :)
