Reluctantly selling my gorgeous 2007 Honda Fireblade. It’s the RR6 model in the best colour combination. 17k miles. I’ve had it for 4 1/2 years and 4k miles, and it’s never put a foot wrong. Only two previous owners, the one before me having it since it was a year old. Condition is absolutely superb. Bike is original, clean and has been properly looked after throughout its life. Only deviations from stock are a tail tidy, Yoshi GP Force can, and a power commander - which I’ve had dyno tuned specifically, so it runs fantastically. It’s got brand new (maybe 50 miles old) Metzeler M9RR tyres, and has just (as in yesterday) had an oil and filter change. Sailed through MOT last month so MOTd till April 2024. Good history with the bike - the previous owner (an old boy who sold it for a Harley!) serviced it himself, and kept oil/filter/fluids receipts. I’ve kept all the receipts for the work I’ve had done since owning (new rad, clutch/brake fluid changes, new front pads, fork seals, and the 16k service has been done - valve clearances unsurprisingly all within spec!) Bike always starts on the button, pulls like a train and handles amazingly. Comes with original tool kit, manual, service book, 2 keys - and a spare smoked screen. Any questions just phone or WhatsApp - I’m on 07813 829428. Priced very sensibly at £4750 More pics on the ebay link here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175729953326
I take it you’re on the Ducati forum too?! The 996 *might* be going soon-ish. I need to do some thinking on that front!
I’ve just bought an 899 to use on track - you really sit *on* the bike rather than *in* it like you do on the 996. They’ve definitely got the same DNA but everything is that much rawer and more analogue on the 996!
I had a ‘14 but sold it this week to a colleague, who now commutes on it to work and parks it outside my window I was seriously tempted talking to you about your rr6 for sale. But I’ve gotta resist if I want the bike of my dreams.
Probably a V4S Pani. But because of my age it would probably have to be the SF version. Then you open the game to the Tuono 1100 Factory and the MT-10SP. I’m still trying to figure it out tbh.
