Idle speed query 17-19

Quick one one idle speeds, noticed im idling a tad high 14-1600 when hot, occasionally at 1250. Bike in question is mapped by a very reputable source, decat fitted. Bike is running like a trooper other than that.

What is anyone else's idle speed? is this something i should look into?

My last blade 12-17reg (17) was always steady at 1250 no decat but exhaust flapper mod done.

 

Maybe an air leak on the inlet side. Has it been apart recently?

 

My 18reg idles at 1250/75 with OE can and flapper out. Came with Leo Vinci and ran higher than that,

 

I only got it down to lifting the tank for a quick look, I have a new filter ordered so when I get that im going to remove the air box and dig deeper. the dust on the top of the tank say its not been apart for some time.

just seeing is this a thing with this model, so im not chasing something i wont find

 

I had a high idle problem on mine after it was serviced at a local independent garage, I think they used a cheap tool to connect to the diagnostic port. After the ecu was reset at BSD Performance where I had it mapped, it was back to the specified range around 1250.
